As humans, our memory plays a large role in how we navigate the world. Our problem solving skills are unique human traits, depending on our past experiences to make decisions and grow as individuals.
For my undergrad senior thesis, I created a series of conceptual illustrations depicting a selection of memory types and processes using simple shapes and limited palettes. I then decided to adapt them into a memory exercise, an iteration of the game Concentration, forming what is essentially a memory game about memory.
ROM is designed to engage, educate and refine recollection; a type of memory retrieval through the act of reconstructing memory often utilizing logical structures, partial memories, narratives, or clues.
